If you are looking for Faith Centered Resources, usually not found in any other local stores, A.B.C. Bookstore has what you need. There are wonderful churches in this area but I believe, and of course I'm partial, Andalusia Bible Church is the best! At Andalusia Bible Church (ABC), you will notice that all of our thanksgiving to God and our praise and worship is passionately devoted to loving on Jesus. Our time in the word of God is devoted to our spiritual growth. We receive by faith the will of God and direction from revelation of God's word to our hearts. We have many support programs and special times of church fellowship. Both contribute to the special unity that you will immediately become aware of at Andalusia Bible Church! ABC possesses many wonderful assets, but our heart for loving the Lord Jesus Christ is the greatest of all. Diligently Serving the Father, History of Andalusia Bible Church Andalusia Bible Church is a non-denominational, word-of-faith ministry based in Andalusia, Alabama. Timothy L. Morgan, pastor and founder, received the vision from God for ABC while pastoring a denominational church. Pastor Tim's vision was a church that would teach the Gospel with simplicity and integrity; welcome people with love, grace, and brotherly kindness; and turn no person away who desired to know Jesus. In April 1997. Andalusia Bible Church held its first official worship service in the old Pioneer Telephone Building, in Andalusia, Alabama. Twenty people were in attendance. Over the past seven years, ABC has grown in membership and in the Spirit. ABC is growing rapidly and believing for prosperity in every area of ministry. Our Mission and Vision At ABC our mission is to proclaim Jesus Christ as head of the Church and the manifold Word of God. We endeavor to teach the Word with simplicity and lead individuals into understanding whom they are in Christ Jesus. Thereby, empowering Christians to walk in fullness of faith and excessive victory! Jesus said, "I have come that you might have life and have it more abundantly." John 10:10 Our vision at ABC is to reach a lost and dying world with the redemptive gospel of Christ. Ultimately, making a mark in the world that cannot be erased! Youth & Children's Ministry Vision At Andalusia Bible Church our hearts vision is to see our youth & children saved, filled with the power of the Holy Spirit, and walking in the blessings that God has already provided to them. We endeavor to teach our youth & children the paths of understanding in the areas of righteousness, praise and worship, revelation knowledge of the Word of God, and fellowship with their Father God. We instill in our youth & children, the character of God and His unconditional love for every man, woman, and child on the earth. We know that our youth & children have the great potential to succeed in the gifts and callings that God has placed within them & our desire is to see all growing into God's perfect will, God's Word. Ultimately going forth to be a shining example of Jesus. Statement of Beliefs ......Jesus Christ is the Son of God and He was crucified, died and buried. On the third day He rose from the dead and ascended into heaven, where He remains at the right hand of God Almighty. ......after death, eternal life begins either in heaven or hell. Where you spend eternity is based on your decision to live according to God's Word-The Bible-or to rebel against it. ......when the Rapture occurs, the dead in Christ will rise first, and those who are alive and remain will be caught up to meet Jesus in the air. ......the Bible was written and inspired by God. ......faith is acting on the Word of God. ......in water baptism in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in Jesus and the authority in His name. ......in the indwelling of, and baptism in, the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. ......in divine healing-the restoration of health to those who believe and act on the truths written in God's Word. We further believe that Jesus is our healer, and that by His Stripes we are already healed. ......tithes and offerings should be freely given to your local church. The local church is the place of membership where God has called you to receive His word on a consistent basis and grow spiritually. ......in giving alms to the poor, sick, homeless, and others in despair. |
